Button not coming up in scan

I am using some commercial software (http://www.radiusnetworks.com/scanbeacon-app.html) which has picked up other beacons but I am not finding this one when I put it into advertising mode (blinking green light, right?)

Has anyone gotten a Mac or iPhone to recognize this device and if so how?

    Hi MarkSilverberg,
    Based on your link above, the application you are using is designed to find iBeacon devices (which use the same underlying technology, but not fully compatible).

    Use a generic Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) application (on either a phone or a computer).

    For a Mac application, we have successfully used LightBlue application on the Mac app store. LightBLue is a basic app that shows you the profile characteristics of the connected device.
